Resistance temperature sensors are used to measure temperatures in the range -200 to +800 C. The sensors are consisted of resistors with a resistance of PT50, PT100,PT1000, Ni100 etc. 2-wire, 3-wire or 4-wire connection is used.
Thermocouples are used to measure temperatures in the range -50 to +1700oC. The thermocouples are consisted of 2 different metal wires (NiCr - NiAl etc).
Both resistor and thermocouples can be protected from chemical or mechanical damage with protective tubes, made of brass, stainless steel and ceramic, depending on the demands of the installation.
The connection head, connectors, materials, dimensions or sensor elements can be modified and fixed according to the customer’s specification.
